Steve Parker, Executive Director, The EDGE

Steve is the Executive Director of The EDGE, the Economic Development and Growth Enterprise, an initiative of the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce.  Steve’s role in the non-profit organization is to lead the effort in achieving our vision of makingthe San Mateo region nationally relevant as a place to start and grow progressive, innovative businesses, and our mission of being committed to regional economic development and growth through solving problems around talent, infrastructure, and awareness.  You can learn more about The EDGE at www.theedgesm.org

Prior to help start and begin to grow The EDGE in San Mateo and for the past 30 -years, Steve has been a business professional; leading local companies and high performance teams to achieving breakthrough results.  His business leadership experience spans numerous industries, including legal, insurance, consumer products, recruiting, and manufacturing.
